Presentation

JustRun! is a 3D FPS action game; between the oppressive atmosphere of Control and the dynamic infiltration of Deus Ex, the game offers a Portal-style story that questions your morals and challenges your choices, with collectible items to discover a rich futuristic world of anticipation.

As a Cyborg equipped with your multifunction weapon, you will develop your skills while descending the floors as quickly as possible, the goal being to reach the foot of the tower without being killed by the army of robots guarding the building.

Each floor will offer its own style of approach to enemies and new mechanics. In addition, you will have to explore disturbing memories, in order to discover the truth about what happened to you.

Gameplay

When descending the tower, the player will have the opportunity to discover more than 27 different floors, each one unique in its environment and its game dynamics.

Some floors will be entirely dedicated to combat, while others will be calmer and allow the player to learn more about the lore.

In addition to that, he will have special skills. They will be unlocked during the game, and will improve as you go down the floors. There are 4 skills, each with its own utility.

The player will have a weapon with two modes:

Mode "Blaster"

Little damage, but faster shooting. Infinite ammunition.

Mode "Shotgun"

Heavy damage. Slower firing with limited ammunition.

Storyline

You wake up in an incubator, robotic prostheses in your hands, lost and soaked. You try to ask for help from a strange individual who, out of bad luck, turns out to be a robot bodyguard trying to kill you.

You are then contacted by a voice that presents itself as the scientist who brought you here. He saved your life once, and intends to save it again by helping you escape from the thousands of robots you have now activated and who are actively seeking to demolish you.

Leaving the building unharmed will not be easy: the Antech Corporation tower in which you are enclosed is a skyscraper more than 500 meters high that you will have to get down as quickly as possible.

Will you be able to recover your memories, discover the real intentions of the mysterious Dr. Frejel and get out of the tower alive? There is only one solution for that: Just Run.

Artistic direction

JustRun will have a futuristic style in a Cyberpunk environment. The whole game takes place on a skyscraper owned by the company "AntechCorp".

The tower is located in a rich state with a lot of social inequality, controlled by a few powerful commercial companies.

One of the things that make the game unique and interesting is also the setting of a stressful atmosphere. With for example background noises, footsteps or increased difficulty.
